  • Different skills and weapons to help player incapacitate the customers
    • Poison – To make your customer sick
    • Trash Bags – Carry victim safely
    • Camo Jacket – Slower detection speed
    • Boots – Faster dragging speed
    • Screwdriver – Puncture tire to stop your victim from driving away
    • Cellphone Jammer – Preventing customers from calling the police
    • Boomerang Bat – Throwable bat that comes back to you
  • 3 Characters
    • Protagonist | Player-dependent & Fast-food restaurant worker
    • Stranger | Son of a customer who was murdered by the player
    • The Thing | A being from outer space
  • Everyday player performance will be evaluated
  • The game will take place at a highway fast-food restaurant in a desert
  • To create an unsettling feeling we’ve gone with the PS2-esque art style

Target Market

We aim to attract gamers who enjoy Junji Ito and Lovecraftian horror. Our target demographic is teenagers and older.

Release Platform

We want to get into GAME PASS library. That is our main platform. Due to the game’s length, I believe Game Pass is the perfect platform for us. Steam and Epic Games Store are our secondary options.

Challenges

  • Silent Scream has a lot of systems that are working in conjunction with each other. These systems need more polishing to make the experience better. This is our primary objective once we have secured funding. 
  • Currently our characters, the monster, and the animation need more time in the oven. I want to procedural generate the characters so that players don’t see the same customer twice. And also have some unique customers for storytelling. 
  • Sound is another sector that needs more improvement.
  • I’ve written and finalized the story but have yet to implement all the conversation and cutscenes. We are short on resources which is why I couldn’t add the story mode yet. After we’ve secured funding, we’ll hire more resources to fully implement the story mode.
